Fourth of July in Taos

These are my pictures from Taos! I have a (very looooong) video we made, but I have yet to download and edit it. So it might be a week or two before it gets on the blog. Perhaps longer if the laptop keeps locking up. (grrr). Well, here goes.
Mary and Ethan
Racing for the parachute firework. Rachel caught it!
Dad (Uncle Mitch for the rest of 'ya) and Marcus stole the parachute from Will!!!
Talking, I guess. :)
Hope caught this one!
Adelynn, Mary, Rachel, the neighbor Brooke, Sarah, and Andi. Why I put down who it is I don't know. :) You all know each other and I don't think anyone outside the family looks at the blog.

Just as a side note- someone had asked me how I edit my pictures. (I think it was Rachel. I foget). Usually I use Corel Paint Shop Pro, an amazing software. When I am on a computer that doesn't have Corel installed, I use Picnik or LunaPic . Picnik has your basic editing tools, and some awesome effects. LunaPic does some of what Picnik does, but it has great animatins.

And I am going to continue badgering you!!!
PLEASE POST!
I know many of you took pictures and/or videos up at Toas. If you compress a video to under 20 you can post it directly onto Blogger (it may take alot of time, depending on the length). It only takes a couple of minutes to post pictures. It takes less time to write a short paragraph.
So.... please keep this blog updated! Espically you, Ashlea. :) We all want to hear about what Japan is like.

Please note that if you have Gmail or a Google account, you can set up your own Blogger account very easily. Then I can add you as a blog contributer. That way you don't have to use Angie's account. :)
Thanks, Shaylynn

Giesler's in Hilton Head

We just got back from a wonderful vacation in Hilton Head South Carolina. We went there with Darren's family. It was beautiful and we did not want to leave.

The kids had a great time. This was Grace returning from parasailing.

Shel collecting shells at the seashore!

TJ resting in the sand

AWE...

Hilton Head was so beautiful. There were bike trails everywhere and we probably rode around about 100 miles over the week. It was GREAT!!!

Here some of the wild life we found on our bike ride. Grace named this one Alex

Calling All Rackers!

We are in dire need of photos! Why? *evil laugh* I shall not tell! Let it suffice to say that we will be having lots of fun... :)

Here is what we need:

-A picture of each couple, and an individual photos of Grandma and Grandpa. (If we only have couple photos of Gma and Gpa that is OK)

So... just email your pictures to Dad, and we will take care of the rest!

-Shaylynn

Everyone, please start blogging! Take a few moments to write about what your family has been up to, upload some photos, or just share random thoughts!!! Now would be a good time to upload sports photos or anything else!

Awesome Helpers

The St. Louis Rackers came down two weeks ago to help us fix up the house. I only got one picture- Tim cleaning the windows.
When we move, we will not be the Rolla Rackers- there will be two St. Louis Rackers. According to Tim, we will be the "Cool Rackers" and the "Coolest Rackers". We, of course, will be the coolest.
I'm almost the only one posting!!! Someone else post!!!

Spring Break in Arizona!

Hey Everybody!!

Since Shaylynn started posting again, I thought I'd give an update on what I've been up to. Well, school is going pretty well up here at Truman and I'm really enjoying it. I've started to spend a lot more time at the Catholic Newman Center and went on a Spring Break Service trip with them a couple of weeks ago. We went to a lifeteen camp in Arizona and helped them improve the camp by starting to clear an area for a paintball course and building a trail to the course. The trip was a lot of fun (even though it was 22 hours ONE WAY). We took a caravan of three cars (one of them being our civic) and drove three days on the way down staying at different Newman centers and two days on the way back. It was the first time I had been to the southwest and it was really cool to see the area. At one of our stops we got to go to Mass in Spanish at an old Spanish Mission which was really cool even though I couldn't understand much. We worked at the camp for four days on the trail and paintball course which was a lot of fun. The drive back was long and we even drove through a snow storm all through Texas, but we all arrived back at Truman safely and had a great time! Here are a few pics from the trip ...

Hello, this is Shaylynn!
We have some big news (which everyone already knows, lol, but I will post anyways)
WE ARE MOVING!
To Wentzville, MO, which is right next to St. Louis. Dad's new job is being a forensic engineer. For more info, check out my blog (which I have way too much fun with)- www.nevdroonia.blogspot.com

I also changed the background of the blog, its a bit more fun now. :)

Please be sure to post, everyone! Let's get the blog started up again!

Thanksgiving Video

Over Thanksgiving, I took some videos of everyone and put it together into a movie! I had to make the file really small, so it probably won't work very well, but I can burn it to DVD for anyone who wants it!
